Another fun one. I stuck the lollipop on the wall and taped the green stick of candy next to it. When I came back the next day the green candy was broken and a piece slid down the wall taking pieces of paint with it.
After many years of painting very slowly in watercolor (they would sometimes take months to finish) I realized that I no longer had the motivation or patience and switched to oils. I was quickly humbled by plein air painting however, even though it was wonderful to be out doors. My current focus and one that I am much more comfortable with is still life painting. I paint on linen mounted on birch or gatorboard.
I hope you enjoy my work and I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
